why is phone number not a core field?
matt
16:08
thanks!
Katrina
17:47
I see you are using gmail - does this work okay? I understood its best to use email address a connected to website.
matt
17:56
is it fair to say tags are more for noting info about our relationship with activists, and custom fields are more for noting info about the activists themselves?
Evan
18:14
Is there an easy way for current contacts to update their info?
matt
20:07
tag?
matt
22:40
custom field
Raymond Yee
23:19
Any best practices to simulate hierarchy in tags? Can we search for parts of tag names?
Suresh
26:55
does capitalization matter?
sally
28:52
I’m confused about the relationship between the question and custom field.
Michael Eisenscher
29:01
If you hide a field, can you create a new field with the same name as the hidden field?
Jess
29:50
What’s the best way to indicate which emails a person should get? (Newsletter, action alerts, etc.)
Bahman Azad
35:20
Each time I upload data to a list, the system creates a new list with the same name. So, I end up have several lists with the same name with different number of contacts on each upload. Am I doing something wrong?
Michael Eisenscher
36:22
If you upload data to a field that is already populated, but with different data, will the new data overwrite the old?
Michael Eisenscher
38:16
If the activist data includes data provided to another organization, but you want to update data (new phone number), the system won't let you, right?
Raymond Yee
42:18
Can my organization run multiple groups (say one for phone bankers, one for texters) so that activists can subscribe to different groups? Or are we confined to one group per organization?
Bahman Azad
43:22
Is there any way to see the list of all activists in one window?
Raymond Yee
44:55
Bahman: I know that you can use reports to pull up a list of all activists. But I don't know of a more direct way.
Bahman Azad
45:53
Thanks Raymond. I am used to MailChimp list, which you see the whole list and click on any contact to edit it.
Karen Ward
47:28
can you change or eliminate any of those fields?
Jess
47:47
You said there are more advanced resources, could you include in the follow up email?
Evan
48:03
Curious to hear about Salesforce integration when it comes to contact data
Jesse Cosme
49:10
Within our organization we have multiple sub groups (housing, living wage, healthcare), within those groups we then have volunteers, supporters, etc. How would we create those multiple levels? It seems that is where Raymond was referring to multiple groups being useful.

Jesse Cosme
49:47
Also where can I get information in finding out how the people we have in action network are interacting with our facebook page?
Jesse Cosme
50:33
The confusion arises with someone who would be a volunteer with the healthcare group but just a supporter in the housing. Would that get messy?

Jesse Cosme
52:04
Can you send the information for the facebook integration?
Raymond Yee
52:11
I found this very helpful. Thank you.
