we have a large list, probably less engaged than *I* would like. I'm new-ish to the org and ready/want to move from the philosophy of "OH LOOK AT HOW BIG OUR LIST IS" to engagement-centric -Do you have recommendations (and maybe you're getting to it) for process for changing - is it deliverability and sunset first then figuring out tags - or a dual/simultaneous process
Michael
35:35
yes
Crystal Brigman Mahaney
35:41
we do - but need to improve it!
Shannon
35:44
How can you get people to get on your list. Only through the website?
avjamiegee
35:46
Sort of but not as fully as we’d like
Endangered Species Coalition
36:02
we do but it is not always used
Crystal Brigman Mahaney
36:24
& I know you'll send a recording - is it possible to get just the slides - even as PDF
Crystal Brigman Mahaney
36:57
thanks!
Crystal Brigman Mahaney
46:10

Michael
46:14

Crystal Brigman Mahaney
48:46

avjamiegee
49:00
Tell them to spend $ on in-person outreach events!
JD Mathews
49:05
not VAN unless specifically collected by the org from other means like a field canvass.
Michael
49:21
if you have email addreses in the VAN list that match what you already have, you might try something there
Jen
51:19
Where can you view stats by email platform, i.e. gmail?
Michael
51:52
how does engagement at lower levels in a network group affect deliverability higher up in the network?
Crystal Brigman Mahaney
52:46
we have a large list, probably less engaged than *I* would like.
Shannon
54:10
We have a large list but we typically sent only to the active members. Is it a good Idea to send out a an email that asks if they are interested or wish to unsubscribe?
Crystal Brigman Mahaney
54:37
bless you.
Shannon
55:11
Thx
Michael
55:45
any suggestions or good examples of content for reengagement campaigns?
Shannon
55:51
Not at the moment but I know I will think of some
Endangered Species Coalition
55:55
Thank you! Will you send the blog by email?
mattd
57:08
On emails to inactives, It's a good idea to send wilder subject lines than you might usually since you really want these people to open. Sometimes "We're going to unsubscribe you" (FOMO!) is going to get more attention than your normal subject lines.
mattd
57:59
And always make unsubbing easy
Shannon
58:19
Thank you Amy!!!
Shannon
59:08
Happy Halloween to you as well
JD Mathews
59:14
Thanks!
Cindy Day
59:17
thanks!
